Clay's Smokehouse Grill is owned by Chef Michael Slyman, Cathryn Slyman, and their two year old son, Clay. Clay's Smokehouse's exceptional menu reflects the diverse culinary background of Chef Michael Slyman. Michael received his formal education serving his apprenticeship with Westin Resorts at Hilton Head Island, in South Carolina. But he mastered the barbecue as a youth working at his uncle's rib house in Oklahoma.
All meats, poultry, seafood, and veggies are smoked and simmered on the premises. They use a hickory and mesquite blend, along with alder wood for the seafood.
Clay's also offers take-out, party trays, on-site catering, boxed lunches, and great desserts made by Clay's grandmother!
